We have just marked 15 years since opening our Congleton shop, the staff were allowed an extra 10 seconds on their lunch as a gesture of our appreciation for all their hard work in getting us to this milestone. Luckily they took it in good humour and haven’t walked out (yet)!
Glossop Hearing Centre has been running since 2010 and Poynton since 2013. We see increased levels of hearing aid purchases year on year ( both to new and existing customers) from all 3 sites.
The secret of our success and longevity is simple – an old fashioned work ethic. Weare open when we say we’ll be open. We return phone calls. We deliver what we promise. In short we may be selling very modern bang up to date hearing devices which require us to be experts with the latest systems and software but we still believe in a work ethic perhaps not readily found in the modern world.
Many other hearing centres open, last a few years and then close. They are very good at hyping themselves up but not so good at making sure that customers receive their hearing aids on time. that aftercare is always available and that excellent levels of service are simply ingrained into the business.
As a customer recently remarked ‘ I bought my first pair of hearing aids from you 11 years ago ( he’s now on his second pair) and although I have needed some fine tuning and the odd repair I’ve always been greeted by a smile and the same helpful receptionist every time ( that’s Kay in Congleton), and you Anthony have always seen to the problem for me very quickly and very professionally.’
