We are pleased to announce that our capacity to carry out ear wax removal has increased. Leah Brough ( registered nurse) and daughter of shop manager Kay Brough has now qualified to administer both irrigation and micro suction techniques. Leah will work from our Congleton shop 1-2 days per week.
Anthony Berg Audiologist and the business owner says ‘ I am delighted that Leah is now able to help meet the demand we have for ear wax removal. As a nurse Leah picked up the skills required very quickly and easily and she is now already improving people’s lives with safe and effective wax removal. It also takes some pressure off me and although I too will still practise wax removal I can spend a little more time on the hearing testing and hearing aid dispensing sides of the business’.
Although there is no dedicated wax removal service at Glossop Hearing Centre or Poynton Hearing Centre, we do have contacts with local nurses who offer the service.
Impacted ear wax can be extremely distressing. It can lead to tinnitus, hearing loss and general depression. Contact us on 0800 458 6726 and we can help!
