Mrs ‘B’ was recently fitted with Audibel Intrigue RIC hearing aids, here’s what she had to say.
‘ I was a bit apprehensive about getting in touch as I’d tried NHS aids a few years before and not really liked them. I called in to the opticians and was greeted by a lovely young lady ( Jodie) who explained that the hearing side of the business would contact me. Another lovely lady (Kay) phoned me later that day and booked the audiologist to come and see me at home a week later.
Anthony the audiologist couldn’t have been nicer. He tested my hearing thoroughly and then recommended different types of hearing aids. What impressed me was that they supplied hearing aids from every manufacturer and had all the bang up to date models at a wide range of prices. The hearing aids were fitted by Anthony two weeks later. He explained in detail exactly how to use them. Kay rang two weeks later to see how I was getting on. Anthony did have to come back once to ‘tweak’ the aids. I can now watch TV without the whole street hearing it and I can hear my daughter again without her having to repeat everything twice!
I love the fact that the aftercare is free for life! The hearing aids should last 5-7 years so its great to know I won’t have any further costs during this time.
