It’s not just 007 who can now use amazing gadgets. With most modern hearing aids it is possible to use devices such as remote microphones (pictured) and T.V Streamers.
Remote microphones are simple to use ( they only have an on/off button) devices that can send sound directly to your hearing aids from up to 30ft away. Someone could be in the kitchen with the mic clipped onto their jacket and the hearing aid user in the next room can easily hear them talking! Remote mics are great for conversation in difficult situations such as in the car, with a group ( simply place the microphone on the table) or at distance such as the kitchen / living room scenario.
T.V. streamers are also simple to use devices that stream television sound directly to the hearing aids enabling the wearer to hear the T.V. at any volume level. Ideal for people who struggle with T.V. even when wearing their hearing aids. American accents ( and indeed all foreign accents) can be very hard to understand for the hard of hearing. A T.V. streamer solves this problem for once and for all!
These gadgets are not expensive and are sometimes included within the cost of hearing aids. We as your provider would set the devices up for you, if necessary in your home. This can be done in all three areas we cover, Congleton, Glossop and Poynton.
